Project Summary
In 2006 AST Oceanics was awarded a contract with the Australian Customs and Border Protection Services to supply a patrol vessel and crew under a long term charter. We secured a 98m trimaran patrol vessel which we mobilised from the UK. Significant engineering modifications were made to the vessel to meet the objectives of the contract. We provided a full marine crew and successfully carried out the duties of the contract through several contractual extension periods, eventually ceasing in October 2015, following the arrival of a new fleet of Commonwealth provided vessels.
