ABFC THAIYAK - IN SERVICE SUPPORT

Following the successful delivery of the ABFC Thaiyak in June 2014, AST Oceanics commenced a five year, extendable to fifteen year, contract for the In Service Support of the vessel.
Project Summary
AST Oceanics provides the technical management and maintenance services for the 40m cutter ABFC Thaiyak based in Darwin. We take custody of the vessel during maintenance periods in line with the long term sailing plan and carry out various levels of maintenance and improvements to the vessel including dockings every two and a half years. We also provide a computerised vessel management system for planned maintenance activities, defect reporting and administration, and document retention and control.
